Case Studies

Most of my client work is covered by NDA. The case studies below describe the situation and the approach. You can view a full client list here.

Helping Medicare shoppers choose the right plan with confidence

  • Healthcare
  • Content System Design
  • AI

Choosing the right Medicare plan can be a challenging experience for those with complex needs.

I worked with a national Medicare insurance agency to create an AI-powered plain-language summary tool, aimed at making plans easier to understand and reducing the barriers to enrollment.

Over five weeks, in partnership with the team at Siberia, I developed an AI content system to generate and evaluate the prompts behind the new plan comparison experience.

Teaching ambitious home cooks real skills in the kitchen

  • Media
  • Product Strategy
  • AI

For home cooks who want to improve their skills, recipes are not enough. They want to explore new techniques, learn the fundamentals, and build their culinary knowledge.

I worked with a major entertainment brand and a globally recognized chef to create a platform that blends educational and editorial content to help home cooks develop their skills and expand their culinary knowledge.

Across the project, I led the landscape review, developed the user journeys and key screens, and defined the feature set and content framework the concept was built around.

Taking the stress out of urgent care for visiting patients

  • Healthcare
  • Experience Strategy

Nobody plans a visit to urgent care. Patients arrive at their worst, in a place they do not know, at the moment they are least able to cope with any of it.

I worked with one of America’s largest hospital networks to plan a new urgent care location around how the visit feels for patients, most of them visitors rather than local residents.

Over a week on the ground, I shadowed staff across existing sites, interviewed patients and clinicians, and compared competing clinics, turning what we found into patient journey maps and concepts.

Bringing attendees the whole conference wherever they are

  • Events
  • Experience Strategy

Much of what a conference is worth happens between the sessions. Attendees at home get the sessions and little else, so they watch an event that everyone else is taking part in.

I worked with one of the world’s leading enterprise software companies to define one event for the people in the room and the larger audience watching from anywhere.

Over six weeks, in collaboration with the team at Instrument, I led the explorations into combining the two platforms and built a three-year roadmap covering tailored recommendations, curated session guides, and group programming across both audiences.
